Terms of service — Trackerstop United Kingdom

Last updated: 6 November 2026.

These terms apply when you use trackerstop.co.uk, send a quote enquiry, use the quote assistant or join the Theft Prevention Programme emails. By using the website you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. How we handle personal information is explained separately in our privacy notice.

Who we are

Trackerstop United Kingdom (Trackerstop) is an independent vehicle security information and quote-enquiry service for England, Scotland and Wales. It is not connected to any similarly named website or business. You can contact us at sales@trackerstop.co.uk.

Information, not a guarantee

Our guides, data pages, videos and emails give general information about vehicle theft and how to reduce the risk, written for UK drivers. They are not legal, insurance or financial advice. Police and government figures are shown as published by their official sources, with the period they cover, and we cannot promise they are complete or free from later revision.

No tracker, immobiliser or lock can stop every theft, and no one can promise that a stolen vehicle will be recovered. What we recommend, including dual layer protection (one layer that stops the vehicle leaving and one that helps get it back), reduces risk but does not remove it. Always check with your insurer before you rely on a product to meet a policy condition.

Quote enquiries

Sending an enquiry through the quote form or the quote assistant asks us to contact you about a possible installation. It does not create a contract and does not commit you to buy anything. Any price, product, appointment or warranty is agreed separately, in writing, before any work is booked, and the installer who carries out the work will give you their own terms for that work. Installation is carried out by Trackerstop's own engineers or partner installers. We do not sell your enquiry or pass it to several installers to compete for it.

Please give accurate details and only send an enquiry about a vehicle you own or are authorised to protect. We may decline enquiries that look automated, abusive or outside England, Scotland and Wales.

Theft Prevention Programme emails

The programme is free. If you join, we send a welcome email and then one email a month about UK vehicle theft methods and how to protect against them. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email. We may change or stop the programme at any time.

Using the website fairly

You must not misuse the website, for example by trying to break its security, overloading it, sending spam or automated enquiries, or copying large parts of it to republish. Our theft guidance is written for awareness and prevention. It must not be used to plan or commit any crime.

Our content and brand

The text, data presentation, pictures, videos and the Trackerstop name and logo belong to Trackerstop or are used with permission. You may read, share links to and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please ask us before you reuse anything else. Official statistics remain subject to the terms of their original publishers, such as the Open Government Licence.

Links and other services

We link to official and trusted sources so you can check facts for yourself. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content. Our pages may also appear on our own social media and video channels, which are run under those platforms' own terms.

Our responsibility to you

We take care to keep the website accurate, current and available, but we cannot promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses, or for loss caused by relying on general information without taking advice about your own circumstances. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when our services change. The date at the top shows when they were last updated, and the version on this page is the one that applies.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in the Scottish courts. If you have a concern, please contact us first at sales@trackerstop.co.uk so we can try to put it right.
